New York Street Volume Foam (Product Review and Giveaway)

When it comes to my hair, I am very simple. I do not like to drag out any routine to where it feels force. I want getting ready to be  as minimal as possible but with great results (I mean is that really to much to ask for).  I am very new to the world of beauty and makeup. I didn’t always know what products did and that’s why I stayed away from them but now with the magic of smart phones and Google I have opened the window to a whole new world of possibilities. The newest one being my hair. I would say it was about 3 years ago I started putting product in my hair and my routine never really faltered from that (maybe a product here or there but not to much).

On a typical day I usually use two products, one being a volume foam.  A Volume Foam usually worked through damp hair. As it dries, the polymers and other coating agents set up a film on your hair strands. Unlike hairsprays that “glue” different hair fibers together, foam is meant to coat each fiber to give it some stiffness. As the film dries, each hair pushes out against the hair next to it so overall your hair is left with more volume. Depending on the type of foam, your hair can feel very conditioned or stiff and crunchy. (Source from http://thebeautybrains.com)

I recently starting using the New York Streets Volume Foam and I am loving it. The volume foam comes in 3.3 fl oz and cost $ 17.50. I thought this to be on the higher end but its like they say ” You get what you pay for.” Tis foam leaves my hair Bold and full of movement just like they say. I love the benefits of using the New York Street Volume Foam, the foam is alcohol-free. The foam works on all hair types, use it on curls for a more bouncy curl. The foam contains wheat starch and Panthenol (Panthenol is a natural, hydrating form of vitamin B, is used in formulations of numerous beauty products. The nontoxic pro-vitamin has absorption properties that make it an excellent moisturizer and emollient.)

(This is the easiest pump to use, just two pumps is all you need!)

The New York Streets Volume Foam is very concentrated, so a little goes a long way. I usually use mine at night. After my shower I towel dry my hair and apply my volume foam and leave in conditioner (That is the second product I typically use.) One or two pumps is all you need, starting at the roots I work my way to my ends and really make sure to work it through ( you want to make sure your roots really receive the volume foam.) For better results you should blow dry your hair (You can even get away with this as a heat treatment as well!!!!), it really increases the volume. I usually air dry mine over night but it is still tamable the next morning. I did a tutorial on our YouTube channel so check it out:

I want to thank New York Streets for allowing me to try the New York Street Volume Foam and for hosting a giveaway allowing one of you to try it too.
